Ndere Centre, Uganda

Traditional Ugandan Music and Dance Evening

The Ndere Centre is known as the Home of Cultures and has ‘cultural nites’ throughout the week, which made it the right place to close the week.

Bringing the week to a close, it seemed appropriate to spend our last night enjoying the traditional music and dance of Uganda. The Ndere Centre is known as the Home of Cultures and has ‘cultural nites’ throughout the week, which made it the right place to close the week. It sits on over 9 acres of healthy green landscape and their main attraction is the Ndere Troupe who performs three nights a week.

The Ndere Troupe captures an array of cultural songs, dances and instruments from the 56 tribes of Uganda. The whole night is weaved with humour and stories, creating an informative yet enjoyable evening that explores Africa’s culture and ways of life.
